YAF’s 20TH Annual (2nd Virtual!) Spring Event:

RECONNECTION 2021: CLOSING THE GAP

Thursday, May 20th, 2021

This year, we decided to continue our normal spring-time annual celebration, but for the safety of all, we’re going to have it on a virtual platform yet again. We are greatly looking forward to returning to an in-person event in the spring of 2022, but are happy to take advantage of some of the benefits of a virtual event in 2021. We have some amazing speakers lined up like our returning emcee, Broadway actor, De'Lon Grant and keynote speaker, former WNBA star and current Boston Celtics VP of Player Development & Organizational Growth, Allison Feaster. Come hear a special performance from 2020 Boston Youth Poet Laureate, Alondra Bobdilla, of a poem specifically written for YAF honoring our work. And our event would never be complete without inspiring stories from students supported by our EdLaw attorneys. Thank you for reconnecting with us as we fight for racial equity in education! You can watch the full program below, or scroll down for shorter videos and highlights from the event!
